Woodland Caribou - West Entrance

Launched from Bissett, Manitoba and landed at Wallace Lake, Manitoba

Woodland Caribou Provincial Park is a paddler’s paradise – over a million acres and fewer than 500 paddlers a year. It is located in northwest Ontario along the border with Manitoba. The trip described here was a fly-in; paddle out from the western side of the park – but could easily be done as circular route. I paddled this with my canoe buddy, Charlie, in a Holy Cow Kevlar prospector.
